Privacy Policy

Spinbo is made by Sempeak. This policy covers the Spinbo iOS app and the spinbo.net website. The short version: no account, no ads inside the app, your progress stays on your device; we use analytics to improve Spinbo and to see whether our ads work, and you are in control of that.

What the app processes

Progress and preferences (stars, levels, your buddy, languages) are stored only on your device.
Read-aloud uses Apple’s on-device voices; the text is not sent to us.
Usage analytics: Google Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) records which screens and features are used, app version, device model, approximate country (from IP) and a random app-instance identifier. We do not know your name or email.
Ad measurement: the Meta (Facebook) SDK tells Meta that the app was installed and about key steps such as starting a trial or subscribing, so we can measure our ads. If you allow tracking in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is included; if you don’t, it is not.
Subscriptions and purchases: Apple processes all payments; we never see your card details. Purchase information (product, price, currency, date, transaction id) is reported to Adapty, our subscription analytics provider, so we can see subscription status and measure revenue.
Push notifications (only if you allow them): the app sends our server its Apple push token (APNs device token), the app language, the app version and build, your time zone and a random install identifier created by the app (it is not your advertising identifier). We use them only to send you the notifications you allowed, in your language, through Apple Push Notification service, and to count how many notifications are opened (when you tap one, the app reports the notification number and the install identifier). This data is never used for advertising and never sold.
Content and settings updates are downloaded from spinbo.net without personal data.

What the website processes

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to measure page views and interactions (for example spinning the demo wheel or tapping an App Store button).
Meta Pixel and Conversions API share visits and events such as “App Store click” and “joined the launch list” with Meta for ad measurement. If you join the list, your email reaches Meta only in hashed form.
Launch list: we keep your email only to tell you about Spinbo and the Android version.
Cloudflare processes connection data to deliver the site securely. Server logs are kept for at most 14 days.

Your choices

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first; analytics and ad cookies run only after consent.
Change your choice any time in . If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, ad measurement stays off.
In the app, change tracking permission in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Turn notifications off any time in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Spinbo; the app tells our server and your device’s push data is deleted.
We do not sell your data. You can stop sharing with Meta for ad measurement with the choices above (this is your “Do Not Sell or Share” option under US state laws).

Retention

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and server logs for 14 days. Launch-list emails are kept until you ask us to delete them or the list closes. Push data (token, language, version, time zone, install identifier) is kept only until you turn notifications off or Apple reports that the token is no longer valid (for example after the app is deleted), and is then deleted. Open records contain only the notification number and the install identifier and are deleted after 90 days.

Children

Spinbo is for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect contact details from children. If you believe a child’s information reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
